Andrea Klunder
Yoga teacher, Thai Bodywork therapist, skin care consultant, tea enthusiast, writer, actor, director, singer, filmmaker, entrepreneur, traveler, and life-long student, Andrea opened Infuse Yoga Spa in 2008 with the intention of creating a comfortable, down to earth place where you can explore the many practices of yoga as an alternative to the craziness of daily urban living.
Andrea's classes integrate fluid asana, therapeutic alignment, pranayama, chanting, and meditation from a variety of teachings and styles. She is particularly interested in how poses, philosophies, breathing, and sound can transform your life.
Andrea believes in the healing power of Thai Bodywork as a means to find more ease in your body and in spirit. Her specialty is the Luk Pra Kob herbal compress, which is the ultimate therapeutic spa treatment.
As a consultant for Arbonne International, botanical skin care & cosmetics, Andrea enjoys sharing the benefits of using premium, vegan products and teaching the importance of incorporating daily spa rituals into your life. She became a believer in this company when the products magically cleared up her problem skin and evened out her skin tone. But her favorite aspect of her role with Arbonne is mentoring other consultants and helping them build their own consulting businesses. It's all about empowerment!
Monica Brown
Thai Bodywork Therapist, Yoga Teacher
Learn more about Monica here.
Monica J. Brown has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 2002 when she received her certification through the Temple of Kriya Yoga, where she studied under the tutelage of Mahaswami Kim Schwartz. An RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance, she has attended workshops with Tias Little, Desiree Rumbaugh, Paul Weitz (Thai Yoga Therapy), Per Erez, and Krishna Kaur, among others.
Monica attended the Chicago School of Thai massage and received her certification under the instruction of Paul Fowler and Paul Weitz. She is a registered member of THAI (Thai Healing Alliance International).
Thai Bodywork is an ancient energy-based healing system which, like yoga, helps to bring the mind/ body/spirit complex back into balance. It is practiced on a mat on the floor, and the recipient wears loose comfortable clothing. Monica's sessions include yogic stretches, acupressure and deep tissue work. Deep relaxation, release of stress and tension, and increased flexibility are some of the benefits of this healing modality.
Thai Bodywork is chakric healing. It helps rebalance the body’s energy centers through clearing the energy lines (sen, meridians) that run through the body. This work can be transformative and healing on a psychological level. There are layers of subconscious memories that we hold in the body – both from experiences and the emotions produced by these experiences. Health can be facilitated by the peeling away of these layers that block and clog the free flow of energy through the body. Thai Bodywork aids in removing some of these blockages and releasing old stagnant energy. It strips away emotional “gunk” and unearths toxins held in memory allowing prana to move through the sen like a refreshing breeze.

Immediately upon completion, Christy began her Yoga teaching journey and has never looked back. She spent a month in Thailand completing an Ashtanga-based Yoga certification in April 2008. Christy has also completed workshops under David Life, Aadhil Palkhivala, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, David Swenson, Ellen Heed, Sharath Rangaswamy, and many more.
An avid athlete, Christy is especially sensitive to those with high stress levels, injuries, and athletic life styles that cause muscular stiffness. Jerry has been enthralled by yoga ever since her first class in 2005 as a means for mental clarity from the stresses of life. The sense of peace the practice cultivated kept her coming back to the mat and the physical benefits soon made themselves evident.
She considers Tias Little and Seane Corn among her greatest influences despite having different teaching styles, both have touched her with their similar messages of union through yoga – not only in the connection between the physical, mental and emotional layers of being, but also in the greater world at large that we are more alike than different despite the illusions that cause us to believe that we are separate.
Jerry is happy to share with her students her love for yoga as a moving meditation of the body which leads to a serenity and joy of the mind.
