First Time?
Arrive about 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment or class. If the door is locked, we may be in a session. Please wait patiently and we will be with you shortly.
Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move around! Bare feet are best for grip and comfort. Shoes will be left at the studio door. For sessions including the Luk Pra Kob herbal compress, wear dark or older clothing as the turmeric may cause staining.
Yoga mats are provided (and are washed frequently), but we recommend you bring your own. Eco-friendly mats are available in our boutique.
Eat lightly or not at all before a class or session. Try not to come with a full stomach.
Stay hydrated! You may bring water into the studio. For your convenience we provide premium alkaline drinking water or our guests and offer stylish stainless steel water bottles in our boutique.
Unplug. Turn all cell phones and electronic distractions off upon entering Infuse Yoga Spa... even if you leave it in your coat or bag!
Notify your teacher or therapist of any recent injuries (car accident), therapeutic conditions (arthritis), or physical changes (like pregnancy) before your class or session. Modifications can be offered to assist your practice safely.
Communicate with your therapist. For all bodywork sessions, be sure to tell your therapist if the pressure is too hard or too light, or if you are experiencing any unnecessary discomfort. Some therapeutic techniques may be mildly uncomfortable, but the depth of your session is completely up to you!
Tipping
Gratuities for your therapists and teachers are never required, but always deeply appreciated. Industry standard is 15-20% for private yoga and bodywork services. All tips should be in cash and given directly to your therapist or teacher. Tips are not expected for classes.
Scheduling & Payment
Please note, due to the limited number of reservations allowed per class, if you are unable to attend, you must cancel 2 hours or more in advance of the class, otherwise you may be charged as we often have to turn away clients when there is no space available.
If you would like to schedule an appointment for Private Yoga, Thai Bodywork, etc, please call the spa directly at 773.880.8055, rather than booking online.
When booking by phone, we do require a credit card number to hold all appointments. Your card will not be charged until the day of your appointment. You may also elect an alternate form of payment at that time.
All Class and Session packages are good for 90 days from the date of purchase. If there are extenuating circumstances, please let us know and we may be able to provide an extension.
Infuse Yoga Spa accepts cash, Mastercard and Visa. We will also accept checks from regularly returning clients. There will be a $30 charge for all returned payments.
Cancellations
Life happens! And when it does, please make sure you let us know ASAP.
Our teachers and therapists have committed their time for you. As such, we request 24 hours notice of any session cancellation, and 2 hours for group classes. If you do not show up, we reserve the right to charge you the full amount of your scheduled appointment or class. If you call within 24 hours or less, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the appointment cost. This charge may be waived if we are able to fill your appointment or class reservation with another guest.
Running Late?
If you are late for an appointment, please call ahead. You will be charged in full for your appointment and though we will make our best effort to accommodate your entire session, we may not always be able to extend your time.
If you are late for yoga class, please note the door to the reception area may be locked. In that case, you may enter directly through the studio door to the right as you enter. Please enter quietly, without apology, and remember to leave your shoes outside the studio in the vestibule. If the class is in meditation when you arrive, please wait until movement has begun.
Returns & Exchanges
All classes, services, and packages are non-refundable and non-exchangable. You may, however, choose to change your service type as long as the session length and price are the same.
Retail items from our boutique may be exchanged or returned for spa credit if they are unused. Loose-leaf tea, however, may not be returned.
